Prisma Health (formerly Palmetto Health):

Prisma Health is the largest not-for-profit health organization in South Carolina, serving more than 1.2 million patients annually throughout the Midlands and the Upstate. It provides a wide range of services, including primary care, cancer care, heart care, and women's health. With a focus on patient experience and affordable care, Prisma Health also offers virtual care options for minor conditions and a comprehensive network of primary care and urgent care locations. The organization is also dedicated to research and training the next generation of medical professionals.

Providence Health:

Founded in 1938 by the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, Providence’s two freestanding full-service hospitals and numerous satellite practices maintain a true devotion to advanced clinical expertise and unmatched compassion. Providence has two freestanding full-service hospitals and numerous satellite facilities in the Midlands. The system is recognized for its cardiac care, which is provided through the Providence Heart & Vascular Institute. In 2021, the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) acquired Providence Health and KershawHealth, integrating them into the MUSC Health system. This acquisition was intended to provide better access to complex, high-end care for communities in the Midlands.
