The Fairfield County Voter Registration and Elections Office has published a guide to help you navigate the upcoming Statewide Primaries and Runoffs on June 11, 2024. Your vote is your voice, and we're here to help you make it count.
Key Voting Information
Picking Your Primary:
The Democratic and Republican parties are holding primaries on June 11. You can only vote in one primary, but not both. If necessary, any runoffs will occur on June 25.
Register by the Deadline:
To vote in the primaries and runoffs, you must have been registered by May 12, 2024. You can check your registration status at scVOTES.gov.
Vote Early:
Early voting for the primaries runs from Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, May 31, and also on Tuesday, June 4 and Friday, June 7. Early voting for any runoffs will be held on Wednesday, June 19 and ends Friday, June 21. Early voting centers are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Vote on Election Day:
Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can find your polling place at scVOTES.gov. Remember to bring your Photo ID to the polling place.
