Summer Intern Spotlight: Alaijha Williamson

Fairfield County welcomes Alaijha Williamson as part of the Summer Intern Program. Alaijha is a 2025 graduate of Fairfield Central High School; she will attend USC Upstate to study Journalism. Through the WIOA Summer Internship Program, Alaijha will write stories and share information for the Public Information Office.

Goal for Internship: “Firstly, I would like to learn what it is like to have a job; this is my first job. I also want to learn how many branches of Journalism there are and what does the day to day life look like.”

Plans After Internship: Alaijha will attend USC Upstate to study Journalism.
