2024 Recycling Center Closure Schedule

Fairfield County Public Works has announced the holiday closure schedule for all Fairfield County Recycling & Convenience Centers for the year 2024.

Holiday Closures

New Year's Day: January 1

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: January 15

Good Friday: March 29

Memorial Day: May 27

Juneteenth: June 19

Independence Day: July 4

Labor Day: September 2

Veterans Day: November 11

Thanksgiving Day: November 28

Christmas Eve: December 24

Christmas Day: December 25


The centers will also be closed on New Year's Eve (December 31st). All other centers (not including the Wood/Limb site) are closed on Wednesdays. For more information, you can visit the Public Works department page on the county website.
