Fairfield County Planning Commission Public Hearing on November 21, 2024

The Fairfield County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. . Your participation is essential to decisions that shape our community.

What to Expect

The hearing will be held in the County Council Chamber at the Fairfield County Governmental Complex, located at 250 N. Walnut St., Winnsboro, SC. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss a zoning reclassification for a property located at 1197 Rockbridge Road in Ridgeway. The applicants, Dorothy and Scott Bratton, are requesting that their +/- 1.22-acre property be rezoned from R-1 (Single-Family Residential District) to RD-1 (Rural Residential District).

The general public is invited to attend and speak for or against the request. Citizens will be allocated three minutes to speak, and a total of ten speakers will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis. If you prefer, you can submit a written statement to the Community Development Director by noon on Wednesday, November 20th.
