Fairfield County Planning Commission Public Hearing on July 25, 2024

Fairfield County's Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 6 p.m. Your attendance and feedback are crucial to the county's future.

What to Expect

The hearing will address two important requests:

1. A zoning reclassification for a +/- 54.35-acre parcel on Syrup Mill Road in Ridgeway. The request, from JB Frazer IV and Phillip A. Brown, is to rezone the property from I-1 (Industrial District) to RD-1 (Rural Residential District).

2. The proposed road name of "Bethlehem Road", connecting Hood Road and Ridgehill Road in Ridgeway, requested by James L. Belton.

The hearing will take place at the Fairfield County Governmental Complex, located at 250 N. Walnut St., Winnsboro, SC 29180.

How to Participate

The public is invited to attend and speak for up to three minutes. A total of ten speakers will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis. All written statements must be received by noon on the Wednesday before the hearing.

The Fairfield County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at the regularly scheduled Planning Commission Meeting on Thursday, July 25th, 2024 at 6 pm. Citizens must sign up by 5:45 pm to speak during the Public Hearing.
