Voter Guide for the 2024 Presidential Primaries

The Fairfield County Voter Registration and Elections Office has published a guide to help you navigate the 2024 Presidential Primaries on February 3rd and February 24th. . It's never been easier to make your voice heard!

Key Voting Information

How to Vote Absentee:

Who can vote absentee? Any qualified voter can vote by mail. You can find a list of valid reasons on the voter registration page of this website.

How to get your ballot: Submit an application for an absentee ballot as early as January 1st. You can get an application from the Fairfield County Voter Registration office in person or by mail.

Returning your ballot: You must return your ballot in person to the county elections office or by mail. A valid Photo ID is required for in-person returns.

Vote Early:

Early voting for the Democratic Presidential Primary runs from Monday, January 22nd to Friday, January 26th.

Early voting for the Republican Presidential Primary runs from Monday, February 12th to Thursday, February 15th.

Early voting hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Fairfield County Voter Registration and Elections Office at 315 S. Congress St., Winnsboro, SC 29180.

Vote on Election Day:
Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
