Fairfield Fire Services Receives Fire Safe Designation
At the September 8th, 2025 Fairfield County Council meeting, Fairfield County Fire Service was presented the Fire SafeSC Designation from Nathan Ellis, with the South Carolina Fire Marshall's Office. The Fire SafeSC designation is awarded to Fire Service organizations that focus on Community Risk Reduction to limit the number of fire emergencies in the County. Fairfield County Fire Services is always on call when tragedy impacts families and this designation is a testament to the proactive efforts they take to ensure the safety of citizens with prevention measures.
Fairfield County is one of the few counties in the state to receive the Fire SafeSC Designation for the past 6 years.
