Fairfield County Planning Commission Meeting & Public Hearing on December 19, 2024
The Fairfield County Planning Commission will hold a meeting and public hearing on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 6 p.m. Your participation is essential to the decisions that shape our community.
What's on the Agenda?
The meeting will be held at the Fairfield County Governmental Complex, in the County Council Chambers at 250 N. Walnut Street, Winnsboro, SC. The agenda includes two significant requests:
A subdivision application for a project called “The Woods of Molly Creek” in Ridgeway. This proposal, from applicant Gene A. Hayes, involves nine lots on a +/- 19.58-acre property.
A zoning reclassification request for a +/- 1.22-acre property at 1197 Rockbridge Road in Ridgeway. The applicants, Dorothy and Scott Bratton, are seeking to change the zoning from R-1 (Single-Family Residential District) to RD-1 (Rural Residential District).
The public hearing will provide an opportunity for citizens to speak on these matters. If you wish to address the commission, you must sign up by 5:45 p.m. A total of ten speakers will be heard on a first-come, first-served basis.
All interested parties are invited to attend.
