Fairfield County Delegation Visits Mega Metal Headquarters

On July 28th-31st, 2025, a delegation from Fairfield County was invited to tour the Mega Metal Headquarters in Instanbul, Turkey. In May 2025, Mega Meatl announced they would open their first South Carolina facility in Fairfield County. County Council Chairman Clarence Gilbert, County Administrator Vic Carpenter and Economic Development Director Ann Broadwater accepted an invite from Mega Metal to visit, tour and learn more about the business culture of our newest Economic Development partner.
