Fairfield County Council Meeting on July 8, 2024

The regularly scheduled Fairfield County Council meeting will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 6 p.m.  This is an important opportunity to engage with your local government and stay informed on county matters.

What's on the Agenda?

The meeting will be held at the Fairfield County Governmental Complex, located at 250 North Walnut Street in Winnsboro. The agenda includes a First Reading of Ordinance No. 836, which will establish the millage rate for the upcoming fiscal year.

Also on the agenda is a Third Reading of Ordinance No. 599, which involves a request to reclassify a property at 438 and 444 Mt. Hope Road in Ridgeway from a Rural Residential District to a General Business District.

Public Comment: Citizens who wish to speak must sign up at the meeting location by 5:45 p.m.

New Business: The Council will welcome TruVista Broadband and discuss the proposed Phase 2 Drainfield Project Work Authorization.
