Fairfield County Council Meeting on April 14, 2025
The regularly scheduled Fairfield County Council meeting will take place on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6 p.m. Your participation is essential to the decisions that shape our community.
What's on the Agenda?
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Fairfield County Government Complex, located at 250 N. Walnut Street in Winnsboro. The agenda includes an audit presentation and two important public hearings:
Rezoning Wildwood Road: An ordinance to reclassify a property at 178 Wildwood Road in Great Falls from a Rural Residential District to a General Business District. The Fairfield County Planning Commission has approved this request.
Project Red: An ordinance authorizing a Fee-In-Lieu of Ad Valorem Taxes and Incentive Agreement, along with certain infrastructure credits, between Fairfield County and Project Red.
The council will also hold the Third and Final Reading for both the Wildwood Road rezoning and Project Red ordinances, as well as the First Reading for an ordinance related to Project Mega Cable.
How to Participate
Citizens who wish to speak during the Public Comment session must sign up by 5:45 p.m. Public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker and must pertain to items, issues, and topics regarding Fairfield County.
