Fairfield County Council Meeting on October 14, 2024

The regularly scheduled Fairfield County Council meeting will take place on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 6 p.m. . Your attendance is essential to the decisions that shape our community.

What's on the Agenda?

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the Fairfield County Government Complex, located at 250 N. Walnut St. in Winnsboro. The agenda includes a Public Hearing concerning the application and expenditure of Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds for 2024. Other key items include:

Public Presentations: Presentations from Midlands STEM Charter School, Hoof n Paw, and an update on new EMS equipment.

New Business: Action on the JAG Grant approval.

County Administrator's Report: An update on the Fairfield Joint Water Sewer System.

How to Participate

Citizens who wish to speak during the Public Comment session must sign up by 5:45 p.m., at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting. Public comments must pertain to items on the agenda for which no public hearing is scheduled. 

The regularly scheduled Fairfield County Council meeting will take place Monday, October 14th, 2024 at 6 pm. Citizens that want to sign up for Public Comment, must sign up by 5:45 pm.
