This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Ty Cohen, a dedicated Kennel Technician at the Fairfield County Animal Shelter.

Ty plays a vital role in the daily care and well-being of the animals at our shelter. From feeding and cleaning to providing comfort and attention, Ty goes above and beyond to ensure every animal feels safe and cared for while they wait for their forever home.

Her compassion, strong work ethic and commitment to animal welfare does not go unnoticed. Whether she’s helping a shy dog come out of its shell or making sure each kennel is clean and welcoming, Ty brings heart to everything she does.

Daily Duties: Cleaning, feeding and checking the care of each animal.
