The regularly scheduled Fairfield County Council meeting will take place on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 6 p.m. Your participation is essential to the decisions that shape our community.
What's on the Agenda?
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at the Fairfield County Governmental Complex, located at 250 N. Walnut Street in Winnsboro. The agenda includes a Third Reading of Ordinance No. 836, which will establish the millage rate for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024. This is a crucial step in finalizing the county's budget.
Additionally, there will be a Second Reading of Ordinance No. 837, which is a request to reclassify a property on Syrup Mill Road in Ridgeway from an Industrial District to a Rural Residential District.
