Fairfield County is pleased to offer the CodeRED Emergency Notification System, a free service that sends critical communications to residents. We strongly encourage all citizens to register to ensure you receive vital updates when they matter most.

Stay Informed and Safe

The CodeRED system is used to send a wide range of important notifications, including:

Emergency Communications: Evacuation notices, weather alerts, and other critical alerts.

Missing Child Alerts: Information about missing children in the area.

When you receive an emergency notification call, the Caller ID will display as 1-866-419-5000. General notifications will come from 1-855-969-4636. You can simply dial the number back to hear the last message delivered to your phone.

Your contact information remains private and will only be used for community communications.
