Capital Concrete is Coming to Fairfield County

On January 10, 2024, the South Carolina Department of Commerce announced that Capital Concrete is expanding its South Carolina footprint with a new operation in Fairfield County. The new plant, located at 355 Commerce Blvd. in Ridgeway, represents an $8.25 million investment that will create 17 new jobs. The new facility, which is the company's fifth location in South Carolina, will provide ready-mix concrete products for various project types, giving the company closer proximity to customers in Fairfield County.

The company has a network of plants that provide ready-mix concrete products for all project types, and it is the only locally-owned ready-mix company with multiple plants and a new fleet of front-discharge mixers. The company's operations in Ridgeway are expected to be online in the third quarter of 2024.
