Public Hearing for the Fairfield County FY 2024-2025 Proposed Budget

Fairfield County will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed operating budget for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. This is your opportunity to review the budget and provide feedback.

Meeting Details

The Public Hearing will begin immediately following the conclusion of the 3:30 p.m. Budget Work Session. The meeting will be held in the County Council Chambers at 250 N. Walnut Street, Winnsboro, South Carolina.

The proposed budget includes key financial information for various funds, including the General Fund, Capital Projects Fund, and Debt Service Fund. Citizens are encouraged to review the details and come prepared to comment on the budget during the hearing.

The proposed General Fund budget will require a collection of $25,884,564 from millage. This is a slight decrease of 0.0043% from the previous fiscal year.

There will be a County Council Budget Work Session on Wednesday, May 29th, 2024 at 3:30 PM for the Proposed FY 2024-2025 Budget. This is a Work Session; there will be no Public Comment. 
Immediately following the Budget Work Session, there will be a Public Hearing for the Proposed Budget. Public Comment will be available during the Public Hearing.
