Calling all animal lovers! The Fairfield County Animal Control Ad Hoc Committee will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. . This is a great opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of animal welfare in our community.

What to Expect

The meeting will be held at the Auditorium at 250 North Walnut Street in Winnsboro. The committee will hear presentations from Fairfield County Animal Control Director JoAnne Shaw and Samira Yaghi of the non-profit Because of Roscoe.

The agenda includes a discussion and recommendations for changes to sections 4-1 through 4-11 of Ordinance No. 737, which governs animal control in Fairfield County. Your feedback is vital to these important discussions.
