250th Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to help Fairfield County celebrate our 250th year of American Lib-erty on April 25 -26, 2026, Historical reenactors depicting the lives of our ancestors during the years from 1776 to 1781 will stage the two-day event on the green at Mt. Zion, where sev-eral hundred British soldiers encamped for three months in the winter of 1780-81, under the command of British Lord General Cornwallis. The site is located at 250N. Walnut St., Winnsboro.

Please join us on March 30 at 10 AM for a volunteer recruitment and training session at the Midlands Technical College Fairfield Campus at 1674 U.S. 321 Business, Room 126, Winnsboro
