Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide enrichment to animals.
- Provide pictures, videos, and bios about all animals.
- Assist in social media content.
- Create content of all animals to be posted for adoption or rescue.
- Network all animals.
- Coordinate rescues, adoptions, fosters, and transports when needed.
- Build and maintain reputable relationships with rescue organizations on behalf of the shelter.
- Assesses animal's temperament and behavioral status.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and some experience with animals or animal care, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Average 25 hours/week, weekend work required
