Salary: $64,230 - $89,923 (based on qualifications) FULL-TIME

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Administers assigned budget; prepares requisitions and approves pay requests/invoices; prepares financial reports as required.

Develops requests for proposals (RFP) for engineering design services for capital and road paving projects.

Prepares cost estimates, reviews proposals and construction bids and makes recommendations regarding the procurement of services.

Attends and participates in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings

Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal codes, ordinances and permits

Attends County Committee and Council meetings as necessary

Performs general administrative work as required, including attending meetings, preparing reports and correspondence, entering and retrieving computer data, preparing spreadsheets and presentation materials, copying and filing documents, etc.

Attends professional conferences, meetings, training, seminars, etc., as necessary to maintain and enhance job knowledge. 

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 1-2 years of Project Management experience

Ability to provide project estimates, project schedules, coordinate work, and keep accurate records on multiple projects.

Ability to multi-task, compose accurate and detailed reports, communicate effectively, make presentations, and perform required duties under minimal supervision

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in Project Management concepts.  Ability to estimate costs and develop schedules.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or closely related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

Project Manager Professional certificate preferred
