Project Coordinator - Fairfield Forward

Salary: $35,635 - $49,904 (depending on qualifications)

GENERAL STATEMENT

Under limited supervision, the Project Coordinator functions mostly in a team setting. Is responsible for driving the coalition’s work forward, in particular supporting communications, day-to-day administration, community engagement, and data functions. This position requires the ability to plan, implement, and direct programming that meets the needs of the community as directed by the Fairfield Forward coalition. The position also requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with a variety of diverse individuals, groups, and organizations. Reports to the Assistant County Administrator. This position is contingent on grant funding for a three year cycle that will begin on July 1st 2020.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develops, maintains, and enhances working relationships with community partners to achieve desired results as it relates to the goals of Fairfield Forward.

Coordinates activities with community partners to minimize redundancies, ensure the success of projects and initiatives, and to implement marketing strategies of the coalition.

Coordinates support between the Board of Directors and partner organizations to ensure the common agenda for both organizations is accomplished.

Assists Board of Directors and subcommittees with problem resolution, identifies and develops solutions as needed.

Communicates the objectives of HPHC to the community and potential partners, including sharing the Common Agenda, Blueprint, or other information as needed.

Facilitates ongoing communication between Fairfield Forward partners by coordinating regular conference calls, in-person meetings, or disseminates regular email updates to ensure alignment of activity.

Plans and coordinates logistics of, and attends, community events as needed.

Develops reports and provides data to various stakeholders and agencies as needed.

Works with Board of Directors and/or subcommittees to identify potential funding sources to support Fairfield Forward’s future goals and priorities. Provides support, coordinates reporting, and communicates information with partner agencies to apply, secure, and administer grant funds.

Communicates programs performance results to Board of Directors and subcommittees and ensures performance goals are strategies are adjusted as needed.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, community development, public administration or related field and experience in project management or community outreach programs, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
