Office: Vehicle Maintenance
Salary: $15.04 - $17.55/hour - based on experience - FULL-TIME

Answers phone and directs to correct person and or gives out the proper information.
Receives, sorts, and distributes mail and other maintenance documents.
Sends, receives, and responds to all maintenance faxes.
Makes copies of all maintenance documents.
First contact with all departments that need service/maintenance on all county vehicles.
Compiles, completes and files all maintenance invoices.
Fills out all county work orders.
Analyzes what parts are available or need to be purchased.
Creates and expedites purchase request.
Input purchase order into purchasing system and validate for processing, code purchase request with correct G/L code.
Receives parts and distributes as needed.
Enters work orders into system and assigns work orders to mechanics for completion.
Prioritizes work orders based upon need
Checks part shipments and returns any incorrect parts.
Inventory, label, and price incoming stock parts.
Monitor stock parts and lubricants and keep on hand a level that will support the shop work schedule as parts are used removed from system.
Inputs work history and or charts for every county vehicle; makes copies and sends to appropriate staff.
Prints work history for vehicle maintenance and inventory purposes.
Expedites information to each department regarding the status of their vehicle.
Meets and negotiates with vendors.
Supports maintenance staff with moving vehicles when needed.
Picks up parts from vendors.
Picks up vehicles from other vendors.
Completes and schedules all department service for vehicles; follows up with each department for scheduled maintenance.
Assists Foreman with daily clerical needs.
Maintains on-call work schedule and distributes to appropriate personnel.
