Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides general grass cutting maintenance.
Operates the grinder machine for wood cutting wood and limbs for all sites.
Pick- up trash on property.
Provide support to Labor Foremen when needed.
Bale cardboard when request.
Operates the Baler and Recycling Centers in the County; opens and closes the center at proper times.
Provides assistance to County employees in depositing recyclables. Assists with unloading and loading as needed.
Ensures that all machines are in proper operating condition.
Ensures that the grounds are kept clean, free from refuse and trash.
Pull trailers from center to Baler site on an as needed basis.
Transport plastic trailers when needed
Operates a compactor and utilizes a variety of types of equipment including shovel, rake, broom, hoe, pitch fork, bush axe, forklift, lawn mowers, etc.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma and some public relations experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and experience. Must have a SC Driver License.
