The mission of Fairfield County Procurement Department is to provide professional services to all. To enhance customer service with the objective of ensuring that all materials, supplies, equipment, and services required by the County are cost-effective for all County Departments in compliance with County procurement codes.

The Fairfield County Purchasing Department is dedicated to providing professional and cost-effective procurement services for all county departments. The mission is to ensure that all materials, supplies, equipment, and services are acquired in a manner that adheres to county procurement codes and delivers value to our community.

The department manages the Request for Proposal (RFP) bidding process and maintains a list of approved vendors. It’s an essential part of the county's infrastructure, ensuring that all purchasing is done with integrity and in the best interest of our residents.
