• Procure goods, supplies, equipment and services needed by the county
• Ensure fairness and equity in awarding purchases
• To maximize the purchasing value of all public funds
• Assist County departments in planning, scheduling and bidding purchases
• To maintain the procurement procedures and policies
• Oversee copier, pagers, and cell phone contracts
• To maximize competition by publicly advertising all solicitations and utilizing the sealed bid/proposal process
