Boards & Commissions

The Fairfield County government has fourteen (14) boards and commissions. All board and commission members are appointed by County Council.

Community volunteers serve on these boards and commissions to review detailed information regarding the topic of their authority and make recommendations to County Council. Membership requirements and terms vary according to each board and commission. Qualified individuals must complete a Boards & Commissions Application. Applications will be reviewed by County Council.

All board and commission members must be in attendance at three-fourths (3/4) of all regular meetings to continue their membership.
